Located 200 meters from the town of San Felice del Benaco (about 10 minutes from the Hotel Porta del Sole) it is the largest island on Lake Garda.
The island and its gardens are the private residence of the Cavazza family. Since 2001, the family has decided to open its doors to the public by making the island accessible with guided tours departing from nearby ports.
The island houses a 19th-century villa in Venetian neo-Gothic style and is surrounded by Italian and English hanging gardens. Furthermore, in its centuries-old park you will find plants and essences from every corner of the world.
The island can be visited from April to October, with departures every day from nearby ports. The visit lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. and includes:
- the guided tour (in Italian/English/German) of the English and Italian gardens
- a welcome drink and a taste of DOP oil
- the visit of the natural park
